It is with a saddened heavy heart that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean-Ruth (Hoyt) Sheehan, 62, of North Providence, Rhode Island. Pamela passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on March 14, 2024.

Born in Cumberland to the late Charles E. Hoyt Sr. and Ruth H. (Ohlson) Hoyt on April 22, 1961, she spent much of her childhood living in Central Falls before moving to North Providence where she resided for the past 50 years.

Pamela was the proud mother of Kyle Sheehan and his wife Brittany and Michaela Famulari and her husband Nicholas. She was the adoring grandmother to Madilyn and Nathan Sheehan and best friend of and sister to Susan Wilcox, as well as sister to Charles E. Hoyt Jr. She also leaves several nieces and nephews that will bear the great loss of their Aunt Pam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Sandra Miner, Nancy Letourneau and niece Amy Letourneau.

Pamela will be remembered as an artist, she loved to sculpt, paint and draw. She was also musically inclined, as she was a self-taught pianist who also had a beautiful singing voice. She loved to spend time with her family and friends by her pool in the summers, going to yard sales and sitting by bon fires. Most of all Pamela’s infectious laugh and sense of humor will be missed by her friends and family.

Services will be private and held at a later date.
